The MICR Printing division of ACOM Solutions unveils its network-ready Xerox Phaser 4510 MICR Laser Printer Solution. The new magnetic ink character recognition (MICR)) printer provides enhanced access, alert, and operator controls as well as increased speed. The new printer is available in two versions: the Certified, dedicated MICR-only version, and the Secure Version, which features a three-position keylock that enables users to switch between printing checks and other documents using MICR coding and conventional laser printing or to disable printing completely. Also, a removable security card stores authorized signatures and the MICR font and prevents users from printing valid checks unless the card is inserted.
