Agilysys has released the latest version of its Lodging Management System (LMS), a hotel and casino data-management suite for companies in the hospitality industry. LMS automates operations, including credit card processing, accounting, and housekeeping. Optional modules include activities scheduling, attraction ticketing, itinerary planning, online reservations, and remote check-in/check-out. Notably, V8.0 lets businesses customize packages by selecting various components. Also, a new GUI lets users toggle between green screen and GUI, and includes command line access, buffering capabilities, and the ability to type ahead and view reports on screen.

In addition, Agilysys will introduce the new LMS Guest Hub in conjunction with LMS v8.0, a centralized repository for guest profiles, including history, itineraries, interests, and preferences.

Agilysys also has released Hospitality Analytics 2.0, a business-intelligence solution available as a Software as a Service model, that consolidates data across disparate systems and multiple locations into a single integrated source. Consolidating the info will help businesses with reporting, auditing, and predictive analysis.
