IBM is inviting i users to its first DB2 for i Technical Forum to be held in the UK.

The free event takes place at IBM Bedfont Lakes, near Heathrow Airport, on Thursday, June 25. Star speaker will be Mike Cain from IBM Rochester who heads up the DB2 for i Centre of Excellence. Cain advises on database architecture and design, as well as query performance in very large database environments.

The DB2 for i Technical Forum will settle debates like DDS versus SQL DDL, HLL RLA versus SQL DML and QUERY versus DB2 Web Query as well as looking at the philosophy and practice of database application modernisation. To attend, send your details to mailto:julie_maw@uk.ibm.com .
