Infor has announced retail-specific enhancements to Infor HCM Workforce Management, a human resource-management application that is compatible with the System i and provides web-enabled talent-management features, including centralized databases for employee information, tools for administering benefit plans, and a framework for processing payrolls. With new functionality, retailers can now apply scheduling changes to one or more locations. Also, store managers can now view a complete schedule, identify an open shift, and then initiate a process to borrow an employee from another location to fill that shift. More than 20 new reports offer users the ability to measure the cost, productivity, and utilization of a workforce.
