Informatica Corporation has updated Informatica PowerCenter to version 8. PowerCenter is an enterprise data-integration platform that provides access, discovery, and integration of data from various business systems and formats as well as delivery of data at any speed. The new version includes advanced data-quality capabilities, enhanced 64-bit platform support, changed-data-capture support, and expanded enterprise data access to OneWorld, DB2/UDB Real-time, and IDMS Real-time. iSeries customers can access data using Informatica's PowerExchange on the iSeries and process it through PowerCenter on another platform.
