Red Oak Software has released Legacy Integrator 2.0, an upgrade of its enterprise application integration tool for System i, System z, and Unix servers. Legacy Integrator transforms legacy application transactions into programmatic, callable business objects and lets developers expose and reuse application logic and data with any major enterprise system. The solution includes a software development kit and an inline testing facility. Version 2.0 improves Legacy Integrator’s runtime engine to make it more efficient, adds connection pooling to the product’s API, improves threading performance, and adds more international code-page support.
