Four System i RPG and DB2 application development experts will team up Thursday for iSociety's next fireside chat. Susan Gantner, Skip Marchesani, Paul Tuohy, and Jon Paris, who also happen to be the new foursome behind the RPG & DB2 Summit in Las Vegas this week, will field questions from participants.
The queries will no doubt be focused on System i-related development, but you can bet that the four will discuss their views on WDSc 7.0, particularly their thoughts on the controversial Screen Designer and Application Diagram-related changes.
In case you're wondering, yes, the deployment and experience of the chat will be totally old school, but hey, that's part of the charm.
Previous chats featured IBM System i General Manager Mark Shearer and Elaine Lennox, IBM vice president of marketing for System i.
In order to participate in the fireside event, you'll need to join iSociety, which is free. After you have become a member, you can participate in the discussion more directly from http://isociety.common.org/chat.htm.
The chat is scheduled for March 22 at 3:30 p.m. Eastern (12:30 p.m. Pacific).
