In addition to the techniques listed last week, you can also edit and view data areas using Linoma Software's free version of its Surveyor/400 software. The instructions are a bit buried in the current version, so here are two ways to edit and view a data area in Surveyor/400:

a. From the Fast Path, enter *DTAARA in the Type field and press the Edit button.

b. Search for objects with type *DTAARA, then press the edit button after selecting one of the found objects.
