iWay Software [1] has unveiled iWay SOA Middleware, an iSeries-compatible enterprise-integration product suite that simplifies service-oriented architecture (SOA) deployments. The suite eliminates the need for an interoperable environment, instead offering a single integration platform that combines business process, user interaction, application integration, and data-integration services. The suite features an interoperable, scalable enterprise service bus (ESB), GUI service design tools, XML and non-XML transformation capabilities, and runtime technologies that deploy via existing middleware.

Product components incorporate service monitoring capabilities, a BPEL-based business-process management tool, and a partner-agreement manager. The suite also provides ERP systems, databases, messages, business processes, middleware, and interactions with the keyword search capability of the Google Search Appliance.
