MKS [1] has released Implementer 2008 as part of its Integrity for IBM i enterprise software platform, which covers all facets of the application lifecycle, including help-desk services and the management of requirements, software change and configuration, tests, and releases. With Implementer 2008, MKS gives System i users streamlined development within WebSphere Development Studio Client (WDSc) 7.0, new support for IBM Rational Developer (RDi) 7.1, tighter security in support of PCI compliance, greater application availability during database productions, usability improvements for development, and improved third-party integrations. The solution also offers the convenience of working with Remote System Explorer (RSE) without requiring the use of other clients, host-based interfaces, or third-party products.
